Awarded by the CGCOII for the Best Engineering Project 2019
Industrial engineers have recognised the innovative and pioneering nature of our Smart Factory Ilbocproject, and awarded us the National Industrial Engineering Award 2019 in the category of Best Engineering Project, which, as every year, is delivered by the General Council of Official Associations of Industrial Engineers (CGCOII).
Once again, IDEA Ingeniería hasreceived a new acknowledgement, thanks to the innovative and pioneering character of the Smart Factory project, which we carried out for our client Ilboc. at their Murcia Plant.
We obtained the National Engineering Award 2019, in the category of Best Engineering Project, It is a great initiative within the Region of Murcia, with which it is possible to create updated 3D models of industrial plants.
This project would not have been possible without the collaboration, trust and tireless commitment of our client Ilboc , for innovation in industry 4.0. This has allowed us to digitalise their plant and produce a digital twin that includes all the processes of the plant, completely up to date.
Cofrico Award for the Best Engineering Project
The awards ceremony, promoted by the General Council of Official Associations of Industrial Engineers (CGCOII), took place at the Railway Museum in Madrid, in the evening of September 19. During this meeting, once again the innovative and pioneering character of our project was shown, attributes that have earned it the Cofrico Award for the Best Engineering Project.
Emilio Sánchez, CEO of IDEA Ingeniería, received the award from José Luis Fernández, general manager of Cofrico. A leading company in CO2 cooling and maintenance 4.0, and one of the sponsors of CGCOII’s call for applications.
During his speech, Emilio Sánchez highlighted the basic figures of his company, a firm that has grown “200% in the last two years” and has outlined a strategy to continue growing at a healthy pace in the coming years . He also pointed out that the award received from CGCOII values “innovation and the commitment to develop industrial projects 4.0”.
Emilio Sanchez ended his speech by thanking the CGCOII, with a special mention for ILBOC, for its firm commitment to innovation in Industry 4.0 and for having trusted IDEA. For this reason, Emilio Sánchez wished to share this award with Eduardo Romero, CEO of ILBOC, who was also present during the awards ceremony.
Ilboc: a fully-fledged Smart Factory
At IDEA Ingeniería we work incessantly to digitalise industries, and toallow them to evolve to an industrial model 4.0. This involves obtaining updated 3D models of the plants themselves, which contain as much information as possible about them.
Thanks to the effort made by Ilbocemployees and the IDEA Ingeniería team, today this Smart Factory project is fully consolidated and provides great benefits within our client’s plant.
Engineers bet on innovation in the industrial sector
Awards such as the one that we recently received from CGCOII, make us proud and motivate us to continue working in this field, with technological innovation always as one of our greatest allies.
According to José Manuel Ruiz, dean of the Official Association of Industrial Engineers of the Region of Murcia (COIIRM), the Smart Factory Ilboc project ‘is exemplary and makes it possible to take advantage of all the benefits provided by both the BIM methodology and Autodesk technologies, and to obtain lifelike 3D models, which serve as a basis for future modifications in the industrial plants themselves. We are proud that our profession is awarded nationally, and that the Region of Murcia is present on the national map, thanks to members of our professional group at COIIRM.'”
