IDEA Engineering present at the III Congress of Connected Industry 4.0
Organised by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, the event brought together both companies and collaborating brands, to share the present and future of engineering and its digital transformation.
Success stories from large and medium-sized sectors, challenges and problems of digital transformation development are just some of the topics that were discussed at the meeting.
The novelties of this year’s edition were the presentation of the National Connected Industry 4.0 Awardsand the internationalisation of the event, with South Korea as the guest country.
Within the programme of the meeting we were able to find conferences on varied and interesting topics, which left real messages of reference to take into account.
Among them, it is worth highlighting the conference of Alicia Asín, expert in Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Big Data, as well as EU Women Innovators Award in 2018 and Co-Founder and CEO of Libelium,who pointed out that among “the top 5 concerns about IoT projects, 3 out of 5 deal with interoperability”.

The first part of the afternoon featured the round table in which the representatives of the event’s sponsor brands met to discuss the present and future of digital transformation in companies.
To close the event, the (acting) Minister Reyes Maroto expressed her gratitude to all those attending, as well as for the collaboration of the driving brands and all those who are doing their part so that their companies can promote and drive Industry 4.0 in our country.
