IDEA Ingeniería present at the Second Connected Industry 4.0 Congress thanks to its collaboration with ACCENTURE

IDEA Ingeniería presente en el II Congreso de Industria Conectada 4.0 gracias a su colaboración con ACCENTURE

En IDEA Ingeniería pudimos formar parte del II Congreso de Industria Conectada 4.0 organizado en Madrid e inaugurado por S.M el Rey, gracias a nuestra colaboración con Accenture.

The great appointment with the future of our industry, which was held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid, was a great event focused on the great challenges of digital transformation and in which we were able to be present with ACCENTURE, showing a smart model with augmented reality 3D printedby our colleagues from IA Manufacturing.

This Second Connected Industry Congress, f was organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, which turned the integrating place into a benchmark, where the latest trends in enabling technologies and their application in the industrial sector were shared, all thanks to the participation of the Spanish Association for Quality, as well as major brands such as Accenture, Aenor, Grupo Siro, Indra, Seat, Siemens and Telefónica, which made it possible.

The event was inaugurated by H.M. the King, also attended by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto. Felipe VI stressed that the fourth industrial revolution is a ‘turning point’ focused on the deployment of 4.0 technologies in every corner of the Spanish economy and society and is a new phase of industrial history that “will largely determine the future of Spanish society”.

The congress had several theme rooms in which technologies and issues such as digital twins, the Internet of Things (IoT), the industry X.0, or the platforms of the industry 4.0 were addressed. According to the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, this event was envisioned as a space for the discussion of innovations and technological trends in the sector.

This is a great programme in which the great CEOs of our country spoke, such as Rosa Garcia Witt, CEO of Siemens, who noted that “Only 33% of the CEOs of the Spanish industry are committed to the digital transformation of their companies”.

This is certainly not the case of IDEA Ingeniería, with our 4 offices spread across different parts of Spain and our extensive international experience, we are still very committed to the promotion of Industry 4.0 in our country, always looking for new collaborations and committed to industrial digitalisation.

Currently, IDEA can state that it is firmly consolidated as an innovative SME and national benchmark in Digital Transformation in Industry 4.0, with investment in innovation and commitment to new technologies being two of the fundamental aspects on which we have built our growth and which have served as a competitive advantage over our competition.

Además, durante el día anterior, fuimos invitados a asistir al Accenture Digital Conference 2018, por la propia compañía, quien disponibilizó un entorno mágico en el que la Transformación Digital y la innovación en la industria 4.0 eran las grandes protagonistas.

Precisamente con ese objetivo, nuestra maqueta 3D interactiva, realizada por nuestros compañeros de IA Manufacturing, tambén tuvo su lugar dentro de una de las salas del Teatro Real, lugar en el que se realizó dicho evento.
