The jobs with the brightest professional future: The Engineer 4.0 (PART I)
The Engineer 4.0 is currently one of the positions with the brightest professional future. A profile which can be found among IDEA Engineering employees.
As recently discussed in CEPYME’s blog, in the article “ Los 30 trabajos con más futuro profesional” (The 30 jobs with the brightest professional future), ‘the fact that the future is all about technology is nothing new”. It is also stated that several studies onthe jobs of the future point to robotics and big data as the fundamental pillars of employability in the long term. .
However, there are other fields that continue to grow and offer job opportunities. It is precisely at this time when the emerging figure of the ‘Engineer 4.0‘ enters the ranking of jobs with the brightest professional future.
IDEA is well aware of the importance of Industry 4.0, as the constant evolution of the engineering industry and the ever-increasing demands of our clients force us to be constantly changing.
All this has led us to consider innovation as a key element in our company. Our Digital Transformation and R&D Department is constantly growing thanks to a great team of professionals who work with the latest technology on the market, providing services such as:
- BIM and Process Simulation
- RA / RV / RM
- 3D PRINT / Additive Manufacturing Additive
- Point Clouds
- 360º Tour
- Drones
- Big Data and Analysis
- Cloud Computing
- IoT
- Smart Bim
And as mentioned in a very interesting article on ‘smart factories’ in the newspaper El PAÍS a couple of years ago: ‘The factories of the future are already in Spain’.
There is no doubt that new professional profiles will emerge with robotics and big data as fundamental pillars considering that in 2017, there were already 883 robots for every 10,000 employees, and that the Spanish industrial sector was the seventh most automated in the world.
“Ultimately, we need Engineers 4.0”
In short, we need Engineers 4.0, but who really is an Engineer 4.0 and what are the needs of Industry 4.0?
We will answer all these questions in our next post, an interview with Raquel Lara, Recruitment & Outsourcing Business Unit Manager, Javier Peña, HR Manager and Pedro Cuellar, Digital Transformation Unit Manager at IDEA Ingeniería. Don’t miss out!
