BIM modelling to manufacture modular structures in a Petrochemical Plant.
Manufacturing detailed engineering for 3,000 tn modular structures in a petrochemical plant to extract bituminous sands.
Scope:
- Design, modelling and development of the necessary information to manufacture and assemble the metal structure, handrails, tramex, enclosures and finishes for the extension of the bituminous sand plant in Canada.
- Design and calculation of the bolted joints needed for the different modules into which the structure is divided.
- Preparation of approval plans with description and details of the selected solutions’ joints.
- The approximate dimensions and quantities of projected structural steel material amount to 3,000 tn.
