Successful completion of the detailed engineering project for a “LNG tank loading facility” inside the natural gas liquefaction plant for the Peru LNG company located in the province of Cañete.
In this project, which lasted approximately 6 months, detailed engineering works were carried out using manufacturing plans for the Rack and all the piping lines. Designing the new rack and testing the current rack with the new loads. It is worth mentioning that this plant is in a location with high seismic activity.
Purpose and scope
IDEA, together with Einesa and considering the needs of Cobra Peru as a promoter, carried out the following engineering works:
- Design and calculation of bolted joints for each of the main profile classifications used on site and for the piping rack.
- 2D plans with details of joints, 2D plans with details of calculated bolted joints Stress and
- hydraulic calculations for all Nitrogen, LNG, Recirculation and BOG lines.
- Performance of all Plant plans, isometrics and 3D modelling.
A work schedule is planned with the client and delivery milestones are set for the list of deliverables initially established in the bidding phase.
