IDEAhas completed the engineering works for the Electrical Installation and Legalisation required by the construction company URBINCASA for the Project of the “Los Flamencos” Residential Complex, whose construction will start in the south area of Mar Menor at the end of next September.
The project, located in Playa Honda, Cartagena, will consist of the construction of 130 houses will have 1,600 m2distributed between a basement, swimming pool, gym and spa, among many other services. A luxury enclave as Mar Menoris considered to be the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe and one of the most important tourist attractions, along with La Manga in the Region of Murcia.
Scope of works developed by IDEA Ingeniería for this project:
- Electricity: includes air extraction from basement and ground floor car parks. For the calculation of the expected energy demand in the whole urbanisation, the provision for 130 houses in a single high-rise building with a kitchen, two bathrooms and a laundry room was taken into account. The project will be developed in three phases: the first one will be the execution of the whole basement, one-third of the houses and urbanisation; and the next two phases will include the execution of one-third of the houses in each of them.
- Common component ventilation.
- Common Telecommunication Infrastructures (CTI), requiring the same provision as the electricity project.
For each project, IDEA has developed the necessary calculations, plans, single-line charts, modelling, technical specifications, measuring, etc. All of them are necessary for each project to be approed and for the corresponding processing for legalisation. In addition, it will be in charge of construction management and certifications during the execution process..
Construction works are scheduled to begin next September and the houses are expected to be available by the end of 2020. Undoubtedly, “Los Flamencos”, will have luxury houses in a privileged area with spectacular views of Mar Menor. In addition, it will have extraordinary common areas for the whole family to enjoy as well as excellent communication with other cities and activities allowed by the good climate and atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sea.
