We have started HIDROGREEN: the first green hydrogen project in the Region of Murcia.
Yesterday the first Launch Meeting of the HIDROGREEN project took place A large sustainable project on hydrogen fuel cells from renewable sourcesfor sustainable logistics and transport by four outstanding partners: CETENMA, REGENERA, Grupo Caliche and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena..
To address this project, we met up online yesterday with representatives of the five partners involved. This meeting was also attended by Julio Pedauyé, Head of the Technological Innovation Service of the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Communication of the Region of Murcia.
HidroGreen will be the first green hydrogen production project in the Region of Murcia.
About the project: HidroGreen
HIDROGREEN aims to develop and apply a hydrogen fuel cell as a sustainable fuel, obtained from existing renewable photovoltaic sources. It also aims to validate and demonstrate it in real industrial environments, achieving an increase in efficiency, cost and emissions reduction, and thus increasing the competitiveness of companies in the sector in the Region of Murcia. The initiative is aligned with energy savings, the development of sustainable vehicles and the use of clean fuels, in addition to meeting the EC’s hydrogen strategy goals for a climate-neutral Europe 2050.
It should be noted that #HidroGREEN will be the first green hydrogen production project in the Region of Murcia This initiative is directly aligned with the development and implementation of key enabling cross-cutting technologies, such as energy saving, the development of sustainable vehicles and the use of clean fuels, in addition to meeting the hydrogen strategy goals for a climate-neutral Europe 2050. It has a total budget of €604,437.10 financed by the 2020 Ris3Mur strategic projects call.
