Our Augmented Reality app for PEKOS GROUP is already a great success
Customised augmented reality app showcased was at ACHEMA 2018. It was an international trade fair, held in Frankfurt, which encompasses sectors such as the environment, the chemical industry and new technologies, at which PEKOS GROUP used our app to showcase the inner workings of the pneumatic circuit of one of its plant’s most important valves.
IDEA Ingeniería continues working daily in real solutions for Industry 4.0, and this time we have developed an Augmented Reality App, custom-designed for Pekos Group. A multiplatform App (iOS and Android) for Smartphones and tablets that highlights the potential Augmented Reality has when applied in the industrial maintenance of elements located at our client’s plant.
It is undoubtedly an element that facilitates valve maintenance at this client’s plant ensuring full efficiency for PEKOS GROUP, which is solved in a simple way using mobile devices as simple and accessible as smartphones and tablets, through the use of this app.
PEKOS GROUP’s participation as an exhibitor at ACHEMA 2018, has led to our app becoming a success, during this world-famous trade fair which was held in Frankfurt from 11 to 15 June, and which specialises in sectors that encompass the environment, the chemical industry and new technologies.

Industrial plant maintenance is supported by this app which through Augmented Reality, shows simulations of the process or internal processes that take place in the valve under certain circumstances or external events. This provides the operator with a tool with tool with which to simulate the processes that may take place in a valve or set of valves, adapting the variables that affect it, so that the operator knows what is going to happen on the real process, simulating it previously in Augmented Reality on the plant’s real elements.
This app has increased efficiency for PEKOS GROUP by reducing risks.
